Discontinued pill five days after having sex
Question
I have been using the pill (by orthocare.ca- tri-cyclen) for about two weeks. My boyfriend ejaculated in me about 4 days ago (last Sunday 8/7). I discontinued using the pill on 8/12 because I was developing a rash and was told to stop taking the pill. Now I feel that my stomach is hurting a little.
Should I be worried about being pregnant?
I am using my boyfriend’s email because I do not fully trust my parents, especially talking to them about sex.

1) There is no method of contraception that is 100% effective.
2) The effectiveness of oral contraceptives is influenced by a variety of factors, including if they were taken according to instructions, what point in your cycle you began taking them, how long you were on them, and other medications you may be taking.
The only way for you to find out whether you are pregnant is to do a pregnancy test. Urine tests are available over the counter.
All hormonal methods of contraception have very serious side effects. I would advise anyone to obtain and read all the information before using it.
I hope you will consider not having sex before marriage for the following reasons:
1. Prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases
2. Anxiety over possibility of pregnancy
3. High rate of divorce among couples who are involved sexually before marriage
4. Chastity is a good virtue, increasing self respect and self esteem.
