IVF or Surrogate Mother?

Question

I have been trying to get pregnant for 9 years. In that time I have had three confirmed miscarriages and I believe two that were not confirmed. I have not been able to successfully carry a baby. It takes me so long to become pregnant also. I have followed up with a fertility doctor and he has said that I have moderate endometriosis, polycystic ovarian disease, a proliferated uterine lining, and also progesterone deficiency. Now, I want to know with all those problems– what chance do I have of conceiving, and carrying a baby to term, even if I was to get IVF? I also have some one, my best friend, who is willing to carry our baby for us free of charge.  I want to see what my chances are of carrying with IVF treatment or should I just take my friends offer and let her carry our natural baby?

You have been diagnosed with some health problems. The two solutions you have been offered, IVF and a surrogate mother, would leave those health problems untreated. I recommend you consult with a physician who will treat the issues that have been identified.
