Ovulens Ovulation Predictor
Question
My husband and I have decided to try using the fertility awareness method for birth control. I purchased the “ovulens” ovulation predictor to use in addition. For three months (after I quit taking the pill) I had by the book readings. My cycles were even and the ovulens just reinforced my findings. This past month, I had a reading of ferns for about 20 days in a row. The only explanation that I could find for this was that I was either pregnant, recently miscarried or approaching menopause. My period started the day of the last ferns (not the day after, the day of). I took a pregnancy test just in case and it was negative. I have not had any cramping or abnormal bleeding, and I’m only 26 years old, so I hope I can accurately assume I’m not approaching menopause. Now that my period is over, the ferns have appeared again. I am left without an answer. I followed all the directions for the saliva test and all the samples were from the first thing in the morning. Is the test not accurate or could my body be doing something strange?
