Hi. Two years ago I tried to conceive, but in vain. I went to my Gyn. and told her what happened. I have never been on pills or injections. I did the blood test to check the level of my progesterone and the result was too low. I really want a child now. What can I do? Where can I begin?

Where do I begin to investigate fertility?

Dear Francoise,
Thank you for your question. You state that “two years ago you tried to achieve a pregnancy” and were not successful and that your progesterone levels were tested and found to be low. You do not say if this was treated or not. I would suggest for you to find a Fertility Care Teacher through CANFP so you could monitor your cycles and learn the signs of fertility and infertility, and to have a complete hormone evaluation done in cooperation with your charting, pre and post ovulation. Good luck to you.
