Pastor Shares Why He Came with Seven Parish NFP Teaching Couples to State Conference

“Of all the Church ministries, this is the most fundamental for healing a society that faces destruction for having lost the connection between love and life due to contraceptive sex. The future of the Church and of the world depends on couples who understand and live God’s plan written into nature. Marriage depends on a love that remains open to God and his plan for life. Our poor parish is blessed with the immeasurable wealth of seven dedicated couples who understand this and make so many sacrifices to share this through teaching Fertility Appreciation (“NFP”) and Life-Giving Love. An investment in their formation and support is an investment in doing our part to build up the Mystical Body of Christ.”

Fr. Larry Toschi, OSJ, an Oblate of St. Joseph, and Pastor Emeritus of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Copatroness of the Unborn, in Bakersfield, CA, serves on the Advisory Board of CANFP. Fr.
