Okay. I’m 14 almost 15 years old in a month. I had real bad stomach pain and I was vomiting every 30 minutes for a while. I went to the hospital a couple weeks ago because of it. They took a catscan and told me I had a cyst on my right ovary. I want to know more about it. It’s only one centimeter so they said I had to wait for it to burst on its own. It still gives me trouble. Will they remove it? Could I still have children– I’m only 15, I have a life ahead of me. I want a family later. Why does it hurt? How can it burst? Will it always hurt? It worries me a lot. I want it to go away. The doctor didn’t say much outside of the fact that I have it. i would really like to know more.Thank You.

Regarding your scenario, I would not be concerned about fertility. Chances are that your cyst will go away on its own without any concern for your future fertility. That can be followed up with a future ultrasound. If for whatever reason it is not improving, I would recommend following up with your doctor. Hope this helps. God Bless.
