Help Wanted!

_182_https://dev2.canfp.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/get-involved.jpgHave you often thought you would like to get more involved and apply your skills and passion to advocating NFP beyond your local area, when_______ (fill in the blank: you graduate, kids start school, kids are grown, things slow down, you retire, etc.)? While sometimes it is just not prudent to take on new responsibilities, the perfect time rarely presents itself, and sometimes important things just need to be tackled! (You know what they say, you want something done, ask a busy person.) CANFP is a unique organization, there is no other like us in the country. And we experienced increased activity, events and opportunity with the historic historic 50th anniversary year of Humanae Vitae. If you have skills and gifts you would like to contribute to this effort. (Love planning events? Creating flyers or website content? Organized? Creative? Fund raising? Technical?) CANFP would like to hear from you. CANFP is expanding—many volunteer opportunities, some with potential to lead to paid positions, and some that do currently include a stipend. Below are some examples of current openings. Contact Sheila@canfp.org or call 1-877-33-CANFP (22637) to discuss any of these openings, or other ways to get involved in our expanded outreach with this exciting project. (update: While the national HV50 celebration is now history, many of these opportunities still remain, as we move forward with future plans/events! Contact CANFP to explore how you can be part of this expanding organization with a crucial role in building up NFP in California!)

CANFP provides education programs tailored to the audience, not only on Natural Family Planning, but on the wide variety of topics related to it.

Programs can be continuing education for NFP Professionals, introductory information for a lay audience of youth or adults new to the topic, or specifically tailored to the interests of a professional audience, such as educators, physicians, or clergy. Content is faith based or secular, whichever is suitable for situation.

CANFP offers a variety of resources for those just discovering Natural Family Planning, as well as to meet the varied needs of our CANFP Members. Most resources are available to any visitors to our site. Some resources do ask you to register as a site user in order to access them, others are available only to CANFP Members.

CANFP statewide conferences, regional events offered in collaboration with local partners, events featuring CANFP speakers, or exhbit, as well as other events throughout the state of interest to our NFP community.  Come meet one of our experts at one of these events or book a speaker for your own upcoming event.

CANFP depends on the gifts, talents, and generosity of our members and supporters. The success of our mission depends on the collaboration of our members.
