Is Eva Test Reliable?

Dear Lina,
Thank you for visiting our web site, and contacting us.
You might find testing your saliva with the Eva test helpful in identifying fertile times for achieving pregnancy, but there are more accurate natural methods which can be used to achieve pregnancy, and we don’t recommend saliva tests for avoiding a pregnancy. Eva doesn’t test for infertile days before or after ovulation but relies instead on the past cycles to determine what the present cycles phases of infertility are. We call this the “Rhythm Method” and it is not reliable for avoiding a pregnancy because the phases of each cycle can vary in length.
If you chart one of the newer natural methods you will know both: which days of your cycle are considered fertile and which days are considered infertile on any given day. It is a healthy way to go as well as a reliable natural way of family planning.
There are several methods listed on our web site and best learned from a certified teacher.
