Congratulations, you are now a Professional Member of CANFP! Now what?
If you paid for your membership via credit/debit card or used a gift coupon, your membership is now active! You can immediately start enjoying the benefits of a CANFP membership, and will begin receiving your own personal copy of CANFP NEWS in your mailbox with the next quarterly edition!
If you paid for your membership via check, you will need to wait for your membership to be manually activated by CANFP upon receipt of payment. Until then, you can still enjoy the free resources found throughout our website.
Professional Profile
A unique benefit of Professional Membership in CANFP is being able to post a professional profile to our Find An Expert directory. To fill out and post your profile, navigate to your account settings, by clicking on your account button on the top right corner of the menu bar, accessible from any page, and go to your “Find an Expert” Directory Profile tab. Select “Yes” when asked whether you want to “Show Profile”, fill out as many fields as you would like displayed on your profile (the more the better) and check your agreement after reading the CANFP ethical statement. When done, click the “Publish/Update” button. Congrats, your profile is now live in our directory! You can update this form at any time to change the information shown on your profile, so please keep it up to date should your contact or other information change. Â

CANFP Community Forum
As a member of CANFP, you are authorized to join our CANFP Community Forum. In addition to the main CANFP Members Forum, as a Professional Member you also qualify to join additional private groups, relevant to your professional role. Access to all forums will be directly tied to the status of your membership; if your membership is cancelled or reverts to an inactive status due to a missed payment, you will lose access to the Forums.
