Do you know if the government offers any funding to assist divorced males who have had this surgery and are looking to start a new family?

Vasovasostomy Reimbursement
Question
Answer
Last Updated: June 11, 2013
Hello. Neither the government, nor 99% of private insurance, covers vasectomy reversal (“vasovasostomy”). It is put into the same category as elective cosmetic surgery and must be paid for in cash.
Fees vary widely. I charge $3500 for the procedure, and that includes the anesthesiologist and the hospital. However, I do not do the surgery on unmarried men as a gentleman must begin to “use” the newly reconstituted vas 2-3 weeks after surgery to help keep the channels open. And in concurrence with my Catholic faith I do not condone either masturbation or fornication.
Thank you for the inquiry.
