Implantation Bleeding?

I am 39 my cycles run 24-28 days. I started on 9/1/04 my luteul phase is 15. I had mid cycle spotting on the 13th & 14th which I have never had. Â I took a HPT yesterday 10/01 and it’s negative. I had a beta hcg blood test done on 9/30/04 and my hcg was 2. I have two children and know all the symptoms like all the other Mom’s out there. My breasts are tender, slight lower abdominal throbbing…. not the kind when you get you period, slight headaches off & on…. and nausea off and on all day…some light headiness, seem very tired off and on. Today 10/02/04 I started spotting light pink. Could this be implantation spotting at 32 days?? Â This is so hard for me to understand since I have been so regular for 39 years. We have been trying for 5 months now and have a 22 mo old and a 12 year old. Could I have taken the beta hcg test to early? My Dr. said to test again in a week…. Can you have implantation at 17dpo?
