Is a pregnancy test accurate in postpartum?
Question
Can you please tell me if human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) remains in detectable quantities two months after giving birth? I ask as I believe I am pregnant already again and do not want to take a test which will turn up positive in error due to the residual hormones in place from the last pregnancy.

Having given birth two months ago will not affect the accuracy of a pregnancy test.
