Stopped contraception, bleeding….
Question
Please help. I am terribly confused. I had been on Estelle contraception for two months then decided to stop taking at the end of cycle 2. For the next 7 days I had unprotected sex! However, just before I finished as usual I had a bleed which I classed as my period. Then 8 days after I first had unprotected sex, I bleed again. This time it was lighter but still red and brown… What are the chances that I am actually pregnant and this was implantation bleed? And if so, when should I take a test? Â As I have also been feeling queasy with a few headaches and upset tummys.

1. I am not familiar with Estelle contraception and I can not find in the 2005 Pharmacopoeia.
2. Do you always bleed every after intercourse? If you do, I suggest that you see your doctor for a pelvic exam.
3. You can buy a pregnancy test kit from any drug store. Urine test is reliable 5-7 days after fertilization.
4. If your pregnancy test is positive I recommend that you see a doctor the earliest you can since you are spotting.
