I am 28 years old and have been married for two and a half years. My cycles have been 26-28 days long for the past few years. I have always considered myself to have ‘regular’ cycles. In the last six months my cycles have shifted to alternating between 25-26 days to 33 days long. My bleeding lasts between 5-7 days and I tend to pass tissue. I have never had a positive pregnancy test.
This cycle, my period lasted five days. Immediately after my period (starting Day 5) I had what seemed to be fertile mucous (clear and stretchy), although it seemed to be awfully early for this kind of mucous. My husband and I had intercourse during Days 5-10. My breasts began to hurt and feel heavy/swollen towards Day 9 or 10 and they have been that way since. It is now Day 19. I have had no other mucous signs.
I typically have breast tenderness about every other month, starting in the 3rd week of my cycle, but I have never had tenderness or swelling this early or felt it this consistently. I have no other symptoms of pregnancy (nausea, etc.) My husband and I would like to have a baby. Is there any chance that I could be pregnant?
